Engineers have also been attacked, with one stabbed and hospitalized according to the CEO of UK telecoms firm BT.A conspiracy theory that claims that 5G internet is behind the coronavirus outbreak has led to arson attacks on more than 70 cell phone towers in the UK. "Daily attacks are very low now but have not stopped entirely," a spokesman said.Anti-5G conspiracy theorists don't just appear to be attacking masts, however.
