Federal agents again fired tear gas at close range to disperse protesters early Saturday.

Federal police guard the Mark O. Hatfield federal courthouse in downtown Portland on July 24, 2020 in Portland, Oregon.that sought to put restrictions on federal agents who have been facing off against protesters in the city and even snatching some people off the streets while riding unmarked vehicles.

U.S. District Judge Michael W. Mosman said the state didn’t have proper standing to file the lawsuit because it had not shown the issue was “an interest that is specific to the state itself.” The judge also noted that the lawsuit was a “highly unusual one with a particular set of rules.” That was in part because the state had sued on behalf of its residents but no protester was a plaintiff in the case.

Stop calling them federal agents they r contract mercenaries who have no connection to our gov except 4 a contract 2 get paid. How are they classified as “Federal “ agents? This only works for DHS who have given an oath 2 the constitution. International mercenaries have not.

Maybe you shouldn't get within 'close range' of federal troops and agents. It sounds so easy, right...just stay home. You get in their personal space, you are likely to get hurt, and it will be your fault. They aren't Boy Scouts, they're military-trained.

They’re NOT “federal agents”. The United States of America does NOT have paramilitary “federal agents” patrol our cities & terrorize American citizens enacting their legal rights, per our U.S. Constitution. These are private thugs hired by the USAG & the POTUS. They’re criminals.

Good.
