For years, Volkswagen marketed"clean diesel" vehicles that actually spewed out illegal levels of pollutants — and were specifically programmed to cheat on emissions tests to hide the problem. The deceptive engines were used in Volkswagens, Audis and Porsches.

There’s something wrong with a company able to pay out $9.5 billion and still be functioning.
It took a lot of work to expose this and get to the point where they had to pay reparations. Imagine everything we're not pursuing. Fund the CFPB. Fund independent oversight.
Great. Now we need NPR to pay for all the listeners it has defrauded.
