Windsor police have issued an online alert asking drivers to avoid Huron Church Road this weekend due to a heavy presence of slow moving vehicles.

Cross-border traffic via the Ambassador Bridge has at times been at a virtual standstill, stemming from difficulties travelling on Huron Church as truck drivers and others are again staging a similar protests.

He also noted while some truckers are involved in the protests across Ontario, “it appears that most protestors have no connection to the trucking industry and have separate grievances beyond the cross-border vaccine requirements.”

Poor reporting. It is just a bunch of pickups, cars, and minivans. The “organizers” (they say that nobody is actually in charge) are on the Zello app trying to get a few actual trucks involved to use as roadblocks. Truckers are victims here, not protesters.
