The Cross River State Sector Commander, Corps Commander Elizabeth Akinlade, disclosed this on Tuesday while on a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Cross State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Victor Udu, in Calabar.

While responding to a question, she said, “We are addressing the issue of vehicles without number plates. Our officers will also look out for vehicles with one number plate,” as they pose security risk, adding that everything is being done to prevent road crashes. “She said “One of our mandate is to reduce road crashes by 15 per cent.
