NATO secretary-general Jens Stoltenberg said a pullout would be welcome but moving troops about did not confirm it. On Wednesday the Kremlin said NATO was wrong to say there was no evidence of a pullout and that Russian President Vladimir Putin had stressed his desire to negotiate.

Why cutting the important parts of this story: Russian troops have been in their military exercises. The troops have NOT been on the Ukrainian border, they are on Russian soil, EVEN hundreds of km away. Ukrainian troops regularly attack Donbass. They just shelled a village.
