A South Jersey woman was killed Friday when her car collided with another vehicle in Gloucester County. A 19-year-old Turnersville man was driving a Subaru Impreza south on Route 42 approaching the intersection with Maxine Avenue in Monroe Township around 5:45 p.m. when his car collided with a Hyundai Elantra heading eastbound on Maxine, according to Monroe Township Police.
The 39-year Williamstown woman driving the Hyundai was trying to make a left turn to head north onto Route 42 when the Subaru hit the driver’s side of her vehicle.The Subaru driver, who was also alone, was taken to Cooper University Hospital, Camden, with a lower body injury.
