Porsche and Disney team up to build real-life version of Sally from Pixar’s Cars

… with the proceeds going to Ukrainehas joined forces with Disney to build a one-off recreation of Sally, the animated 911 from the Pixar movie Cars. The project was originally designed as a fun task for the two teams of designers to work on which would celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary – but in light of the worsening situation in Ukraine, the companies found a better use for the car.

Porsche hasn’t yet confirmed the final design of the special edition 911, although the brand has said it will feature a host of bespoke parts and accessories to keep its styling as faithful as possible to Sally’s. The car will also come with some unique badging, an image of the animated character on its dashboard and a matching one-of-a-kind watch.
