At about 4:30 Monday morning, a crash involving multiple vehicles including, at least one semi-truck, was reported at milepost 183 between Wickenburg and Congress, AZ.Officials have not released any information on injuries.
This Highway has been killing people since I was driving in 1970! When will AZDOT do something about this road and start saving peoples lives! Even the impatient ones!
UPDATE: A second person has died in a multi-vehicle crash on the U.S. 93 near Wickenburg this morning. A partial closure remains in effect. WHAT WE KNOW:
It's not the roads fault that people are impatient, pass illegally or dangerously, just to save a few minutes on their trip. Sorry another life was lost due to stupidity 😞
How isn’t this stretch a priority by now? The governors office of highway safety seems to be more worried about undercover cars and lightweight enforcement and not preventative measures as in evaluating redesigns!
