Suzuki sold 4 500 cars in June, including 1 900 Swifts - here's which models SA bought | Wheels

• Suzuki Swift is South Africa's top-selling passenger car in June.bypassing even Toyota and Volkswagen with passenger car sales. The automaker had yet another stellar month as it closed in on 5 000-sales in June.Last month the automaker sold 4 622 vehicles for an overall passenger vehicle market share of 15.26%. It firmly puts Suzuki in third place overall, behind Volkswagen, which includes Audi, and Toyota, including Lexus and Hino.

Not to be outdone, the Suzuki department responsible for the fleet, rental, and government sales sold 1 200 units in June. While the Swift was South Africa's favourite Suzuki, several other models also performed well ahead of expectations, says the automaker. • 657 new Vitara Brezzas• 397 Jimny models, making it one of SA's most favourite off-road capable vehicles.
