“We are still getting details as to what happened, what caused the accident and who was in the wrong,” said Kota Kinabalu OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Zaidi Abdullah.
He said a four-wheel drive and a lorry were hit by the train that was bound for the city from Papar district.The accident brought traffic to a standstill as it was close to a traffic light intersection.The train continued on its journey about an hour after the accident. It is learned the train driver will be called in later, together with the 4WD and lorry drivers, to help with the investigation.
