GEORGE TOWN: Ten vehicles, including nine motorcycles, were destroyed in an early morning fire at Jalan Kurau, Jelutong.

A Penang State Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said a team of firemen were dispatched to the location after receiving a distress call at 3.26am on Thursday .

"Upon arriving at the location, the fire had been put out by the public and firemen conducted an inspection to ensure that the fire was completely extinguished," he said.Article type: free
