Summerside Fire Department vehicle. - ContributedSUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. — A two-vehicle garage on Summerside’s Central Street was destroyed by fire late Wednesday, Aug. 17.
The nearby home sustained some external heat-related damage but was otherwise untouched. Summerside Fire Chief Ron Enman reported that a neighbour spotted the fire and rushed to alert the homeowner. Emergency crews arrived on the scene shortly thereafter.
