The Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association has launched a $20,000 bursary program available to students in a number of programs with ties to the Canadian automotive industry.
The Future of Work Scholarship Program will award $2,500 to eight post-secondary students in any year of study in the following four categories: While the APMA has pledged $10,000, its contribution was matched by Invest WindsorEssex, which promotes economic development in Windsor, Ont. “The future of zero emissions and connected mobility will rely on the development of a wide range of disciplines in a wider societal effort,” the APMA said in a statement. Bursary winners will be announced at the 2022 APMA Annual Conference in Windsor, Ont., on Oct. 19, 2022.
A diverse group of jurists from the country’s auto industry, led by former Chair, Martin Mazza, will select the eight winners.
