Sedans can't cost more than $55,000 to qualify for the credit, while SUVs and pickups are restricted to $80,000. But those prices are still outside the budgets of many drivers who spoke with Fox News."What really is $7,500 against the cost of an electric car?" Cathy, from Lincoln, Nebraska, said. She added that the best approach is to buy an affordable car, pay it off and own it outright.

How does this help families? Who can afford an EV car? Majority of Americans cannot.
Many working class commuters live in apartments equipped with - if any - a couple of charging stations Min EV cost = $30K + higher repair $. Charging an EV up to 80% takes 30-45 minutes. This hurts the lower income working class most, and they voted for Dems. 😡
where is electricity coming from for electric vehicles?
Prices just were raised ....about the same as the Tax Credit.
Didn't the EV makers raise the price of cars the same amount of the subsidies?
It’s not a Tax Credit. It’s a subsidy because we are all paying for this.
Not buying
The country's power grid could not handle the drain if the country went all electric cars. Plus most of the power is generated by fossil fuels. So you are just trading on devil for another devil.
So the folks that can afford a Tesla get a $7,500 tax credit! And the folks that can't afford one get to pay taxes for there credit!!! Makes perfect sense to today's Democratic Party! That's why we left the Party and Many More are to Just as much sense as below! Retweet 😎
