According to police, officers responded to the 5500 block of 8th Avenue S.E. for reports of gunshots around 7 p.m. Witnesses told police they saw occupants of two vehicles shooting at each other.A man was suffering from injuries that appeared to be consistent with a gunshot wound, a news release from Calgary police said. The man was taken to hospital in stable condition.“The investigation remains in the early stages, however, at this time it is not believed to be a random incident,” said police.
