At least 20 people, including women and children, have been killed and food aid destroyed after militants attacked several vehicles in Somalia's central Hiiraan region.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud"strongly condemns the despicable acts of murder against innocent civilians", the Somali presidency said on Twitter. The al-Shabaab terror group claimed responsibility for the attack.Four trucks carrying food relief and three minibuses were set ablaze. Authorities said al-Shabab has been intensifying attacks in the central Hiran region.
