The Challenger coupe and four-door Charger will be discontinued after 2023, but Dodge has something exciting—and electric—on the way.

The 2023 model year marks the final bow of Dodge's pair of old-school muscle cars. These two have felt dated for some time now, but we're still sad to see them go. Oh, and call it sacrilegious, but we're properly excited for the badass EV future previewed by the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT concept.View GalleryDodge is leaning into its history with the end of the Challenger line. New 345 badges adorn the front fender of R/T models with the 5.

the sedan charger is good on its own

Entire auto industry is going all electric, this was decided a few yrs ago. There are over 100 EV models in the pipeline. EVs are 4 times as efficient (many 100+ MPGe), are ultra cheap to charge at home ($5-9), and need little maintenance. You'll save $10-15k over 5 yrs

The end of an era, the continuing feminization of American muscle proceeds unabated.

It is insane to think that they are giving up on an entire customer base. The people buying these cars are not going to buy electric cars…

If it's electric we are not interested

Ugly as shit will never conpare to a gas car

It’s not exciting. Not even a little bit.

“Last Call” badge under the 2023’s hood 😢 Godspeed Dodge Challenger.

This is one of the best pieces of car design I’ve ever seen!

Exactly what the Chinese want they will watch the whole world automobile manufacturing collapse as people refuse to buy this new crap dodge fans will weep

Dodge Audi A5

Gonna backfire on dodge. Wait and see.

You gonna sells these in California, where we're being told not to charge electric cars during a heat wave?

It will be lame and unaffordable.

SO THIS IS IT. Dodge goes from the most popular name in American motors in the last 10 year to the most irrelevant. What people will never understand is its not the HP. It's a way of life. Fathers, sons, daughters, mothers all live this thing we call being a gearhead. ITS TRADITION

Yawn.....

Nup to electric

“Exciting” isn’t a word I would use. I like the phrase “pandering bullshit” better. Sellouts.

Good looking car. Be better with a real rumble

nothing El;ectric excites me

Exciting? You mean that new ev prove of garbage they revealed a week or so ago. I can think of absolutely nothing more lame.

The future is cars that make fake 'exciting' engine sounds.
