Audi's new logo is a ringer for the old one - Autoblog

Audi seeks to 'flatten' its logo for better display on digital screensbrands for nearly a century. Now a new graphic design is in play: It’s still four rings, but it features a 3D look in two dimensions, free of chrome and in high-contrast black-and-white.

“The clarity of the new black and white rings makes our corporate identity unmistakable,” said brand designer

Keep the hardware rings! The digital logos are already played. :/

If anything it’s more three dimensional than before, if the pictured rings are indicative of the line. Notice: the top half of the rings stand proud of the grille trim, as the trim now leans back from the plane of the rings.

But not a dead ringer.
