The first crossover from Volvo affiliate Polestar, show above, will arrive in Canada in late 2023 with a starting price of $97,400, including $2,500 delivery. The clean sheet-design has an estimated maximum range of 482 kilometres. Its front and rear motors generate 489 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque. The five-seat crossover is the first to use a new all-electric platform developed by Volvo. It will also be the first Polestar built in North America, in addition to China.

The new Trax shares a platform with the Trailblazer, giving it more space inside than the previous model. The Trax will start at $23,699 in Canada, including $2,000 delivery.The latest electric offering from Mercedes-Benz targets the heart of the North American auto market, serving as a counterpart to the brand’s bestselling gasoline-powered GLE crossover. Two variants of the EQE SUV will be available in Canada in early 2023, both with all-wheel drive and dual motors.
