The A643 Elland Road has reopened in both directions after a crash in Leeds. The road was closed on Saturday night after the incident in Beeston.

At this stage it is not clear how many vehicles were involved in the collision or whether there are any casualties. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route.Traffic service Inrix first reported the incident at 11.07pm on Saturday night. They said: "A643 Elland Road in both directions closed due to accident from A6110 Ring Road Beeston to Elland Road Stadium.
