SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices fell across all categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Thursday (Jan 5), with the biggest decrease observed in the small cars category.

Premiums for small cars or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW, otherwise known as Category A vehicles, fell by 9.1 per cent to S$80,000.fell from S$108,006 in the previous bidding exercise to S$102,002, or about 5.6 per cent.

Meanwhile, goods vehicles and buses saw COE prices go down for the third time in a row, from S$78,200 in the previous exercise to S$77,301. Premiums for the motorcycle category, or Category D, went down from S$11,690 in the previous bidding exercise to S$10,890, or 6.8 per cent, the lowest value since the end of July 2022.

In the open category, which can be used for any types of vehicles except motorcycles, premiums slid by 1.56 per cent to S$107,889.Cat E : S$107,889
