The GOP lawmakers who sponsored the resolution in Wyoming made no secret of the correlation between the two proposals when they authored their measure: they asked that a copy of their resolution be sent to Newsom for him to review.
The six members of the Wyoming GOP that sponsored the resolution do spell out why they think banning the sale of electric cars in Wyoming may be worthwhile. They argue that the proliferation of electric vehicles in the state would have a disastrous effect.
Why can’t the market place decide which car to drive? ( not the politicians playing to their idiotic fans!)

Just petulant behavior. I don’t agree with banning ICE cars, just let the market decide. Heavy trucks are the ones that pollute the most but we need them. Punishing consumers never invented a solution for anything.

Even if they did succeed in this trolling taunt, and they won't, btw, it's practically pointless. Here in LA County we have 16 times as many drivers than the entire state of Wyoming. They lead in nothing but cowpies.
