Nissan Motor and French partner Renault said they reached an agreement to reorganize their more than two-decade-old alliance

TOKYO— Nissan Motor Co. and its French partner Renault SA said Monday theyNissan and Renault have agreed to a deal under which the French auto maker will reduce its 43% stake in Nissan to 15%, the companies said.

Renault will transfer 28% of its Nissan shares into a French trust, they said.
