Meanwhile, traffic officers equipped with automatic licence plate reader technology were on Bank Street and on Preston Street on Tuesday. They wrote 68 tickets, including four for stunt driving, three for speeding, 24 for expired licence plates, six for driving without a licence and four for distracted driving.
Getting “high-risk and problematic drivers” off city streets makes other drivers, cyclists and pedestrians safer, Hull said.
