They don't produce emissions. The manufacturing, shipping, factories being built, infrastructure building and the materials required to make one all produce massive emissions. We're also increasing mining to build them. So ya. There's not much saved.
I’ve never heard anyone using that arguement against EV’s. The main objection is in the manufacturing of the battery and mining of materials to make the battery. Do an assessment on THAT.
