Penawar Fire and Rescue Department operation commander Masri Ibrahim said that the department received a distress call at 4.01pm on Sunday .
“A total of 14 personnel from the Penawar and Pasir Gudang Fire and Rescue Departments were deployed to the location on two fire trucks. “There were 13 victims involved in the four car accidents where a two-year-old child was killed while a woman in her 30s was stuck inside a car,” he said in a statement here.
The other victims managed to get out of the vehicles on their own and suffered minor injuries, he added.Article type: free
