Fast forward to some of the big recalls & lawsuits that will occur when systems fail
Reminds me of the Mazda 6 rental car I had that beeped at me for everything! I eventually shut everything off so I could focus on driving,
The more 'high tech' is used in cars, the more accidents there will be. The technology is never tested long enough before putting on the market.
Nothing is always safe. So what should we do? Abandon the technology?
I have a 2019 Volvo XC40 with all the new tech and I LOVE IT. It has definitely made me a safer driver - especially adaptive cruise control! Once you start using the new tech, you won’t want to go back and (at least Volvo version) definitely makes roads more safe for all.
😁😁😎
Just remember that these things depend on programmers. How do you like Windows?
The high tech car systems do break down &, from personal experience, expensive to replace. When my Prius screen went black, it ended up costing about $800 with me buying the replacement part online. Had I bought it from the dealer, it would have cost $1300.
Hopefully artificial intelligence will replace these fake journalist hacks
Technology and the lack of common sense by these tech companies are going to cause more danger than just car safety systems. Tech may get smarter, but it will make people even less smart than they are now after 12yrs of school and 4yrs of college. People are losing 'Common' sense
'Things' break, recalls happen.
