Lights flashing, a line of police cars drove slowly by the Coldbrook family home of slain Edmonton police Const. Travis Jordan on Thursday, less than a day after Jordan and another officer were killed responding to a domestic violence call.

On Thursday afternoon, a line of RCMP, Kenville Police Service and Canadian military police drove slowly past the family’s home in Coldbrook.

With the support of the family, he said the procession consisted of 15 vehicles from the Kentville Police Service, Kings and Annapolis County District RCMP, Military Police, police dog services, the forensic identification unit and the integrated street crime enforcement team. She wrote that her brother and his wife left their family in Nova Scotia behind to protect and serve the citizens of Edmonton. He loved and lived for his job.
