📻 Automakers have been taking AM signals out of electric vehicles because they can cause engineering problems. However, U.S. Rep. Josh Gottheimer wants to stop the practice. He said eliminating AM radio is a threat to public safety.

Gottheimer said that AM radio is one of the critical ways federal, state and local governments communicate with the public during natural disasters and other emergencies. It's what the National Public Warning System is broadcast through.

The White House announced CCS as the standard for charging electric vehicles. So, what does that mean for Tesla, who uses their own type of charger?
