As Russia’s winter offensive peters out in the ruins of Bakhmut and Vuhledar, in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas region, Ukraine is preparing to seize the initiative—and launch a counteroffensive.
Ironically, the Russians have helped out, too. When Russia widened its war on Ukraine back in February 2022, a host of AEVs led the way. As the Russian advance faltered and regiments retreated to the current front line, they left behind nearly 200 of these specialist vehicles. Many of them now work for Ukraine.
Whether the Ukrainian army makes better use of its BAT-2s than the Russian army did comes down to leadership and discipline. A breach is a classic combined-arms operation. That is, it requires infantry, tankers and engineers to work together.
daxe Forbes spreading disinformation about the NATO WAR propaganda
daxe Ukraine is finished . Millions of their citizens cowardly left their country and now thanks to them, putin is king
daxe Propaganda...from Forbes 🤔🤔🤔 WAOUUHHH
daxe Over the last year, Ukraine has captured lots of Russian assets that were SUPPOSED to be very useful. Still, the Russian advantage over annexed land remains. Except the US has improved its Economy owing to the war, nothing changed for Ukraine. Even Putin seems unperturbed.
daxe Forbes, you have lost credibility. Try reporting the truth, please. The public depends on facts and truthful journalism not state run media.
