San Antonio police examine a white car involved in a road-rage shooting that left a 6-month-old baby wounded by shrapnel Sunday night in the 7600 block of Tezel Road on the Northwest Side.A 6-month-old child was wounded in a road-rage shooting Sunday night on the Northwest Side.

The incident began as two vehicles collided about 9 p.m. in the 7600 block of Tezel Road, San Antonio police said. Afterward, the drivers inside both vehicles started shooting at each other. Neither driver was hit, but a 6-month-old infant was hit by shrapnel, a sergeant said.Emergency medical personnel took the infant to University Hospital alongside the mother. A condition was not immediately available.
