The report states that a Tesla worker died during an incident at Giga Shanghai's welding workshop.

The title to this article is likely misleading. Since Elon tweeted that he’s “looking into it” in response to a srparate tweet on the matter it’s very unlikely that Elon personally cut the bonuses
