The Penang-based automation solution provider said it entered 2023 with a sizeable order book on hand and expects majority of its orders to be fulfilled and delivered during the year. “Both the semiconductor and consumer and industrial products segment sees a trend of modest growth and the group expects the revenue proportion from these segments to remain consistent as the previous year,” Pentamaster said in the notes accompanying its financial results.
Its revenue rose RM165.3mil from RM146.02mil a year ago while earnings per share rose to 2.99 sen from 2.86 sen last year. The group’s revenue was mainly contributed by the automated test equipment and factory automation solutions segments, constituting approximately 67.3% and 32.7% respectively of the group’s total revenue in 1Q23.
