This recall may be familiar to some Honda customers because it replaces one issued in 2019, for the same rusting concern in 83,000 vehicles. The problem is related to winter driving, when Honda Canada says road de-icing agents such as salt could enter the rear frame through drainage holes, causing corrosion that, over time, could cause the rear trailing arm to fall off.
