The Office of Transport Safety Investigations announced on Friday it had initiated a comprehensive inquiry into the incident, which would examine in detail the circumstances leading up to the rollover of the coach on June 11.

“The joint operation involved a comprehensive audit of documentation relating to fatigue, driver management, vehicle servicing and maintenance records, and safety management systems,” a police statement said. The tragic crash unfolded late Sunday night when the bus flipped on its side while turning on to a major roundabout in the locality of Greta.
