A grandad has been left "battered and bruised" after a bin lorry allegedly ploughed into the side of his motor.
Speaking to Aberdeen Live, he said: “At first I didn't know what had happened as the glass had smashed out of the window and the car had been knocked right around and I ended up in the other lane. I'm a bit battered and bruised but apart from that I'm pretty much alright. "The car itself, I don't think I'll be getting back, which is a shame. It's been 30-odd years I've been driving about in and out of Aberdeen. I travel into Aberdeen everyday so I'm a little cheesed-off since I take photos for a hobby and my car has been all over Scotland."
He added: "We were hit up the Toll of Birness before with my kids who were only young at the time. My father-in-law couldn't work again and tragically the guy in the other car died.
