Production Is Up at fisker , but Still Short of Targets

It's been a while since we heard any real updates about the progress or not being made by Fisker, another of the new startup EV makers trying to make a go of it in the electric-vehicle sector.

The company has begun production of its first model, the Ocean SUV. Its mid-year review includes some good news, as well as some not-so-good news. On the positive side, production is on the rise, and the number of units sold passed the 1,000 mark in the second quarter of the year . On the negative side, the company missed its production target for the same period due to a shortage of components.
