Has this happened to you? 😬

Vehicles were turning into the wrong lane towards oncoming traffic at the junction of Lentor Avenue and Yio Chu Kang Road.shared a dashcam video taken at night in April showing two taxis turning right and making the mistake.

"Due to the massive construction, drivers can often get confused and turn into the wrong lane," said the Stomper.Although there was a"No entry" sign to warn motorists, the Stomper pointed out that it could be easily missed. "Note that the 'No entry' sign is ineffective at night due to low contrast caused by the red lighting and reflection from the opposite traffic light. Both the white and red areas of this sign appeared red!"in March showed a car turning into the wrong lane at the same junction in the daytime, although it appeared the"No entry" sign had not been erected at the time.

The Stomper said this was still happening months later and offered a simple solution:"An additional broken line delineating the right edge of this right turn lane should help to cut down on such confusion."Get more of Stomp's latest updates by following us on
