Dennis Harrietha's 1914 Ford Model T has all of its original parts. - ContributedSYDNEY, N.S. — The Harrietha family has bonded through their love of cars, a connection that dates back to the beginning of the 20th century.
The generational tradition began with Dennis’s grandfather, Alphonse Sr., who bought a Ford Model T in the 1910s. He passed away before he could meet his son, Alphonse Harrietha Jr. The car became reminiscent of some of his life’s milestones, including when he began courting his wife. Dennis’s love of cars began when he was very young. He built his own wooden car at the age of five and was gifted a steel pedal car from his grandmother.His passion has always remained at the forefront of Dennis's life. As an adult, his fascination with cars has only grown stronger.
