Community Rescue Service is revving up for its annual Motor Festival in support of the charity's life-saving work.
"The community is at the heart of everything we do so if we can give back while raising vital funds that just makes everything all the better. Sean says CRS currently has between 200-260 volunteers across 12 Northern Ireland units - but they are currently recruiting to bring new volunteers in to be trained as search and rescue technicians. New volunteers will get training in health and safety, first aid and medical training and gain skills in search techniques."They then partake in weekly training at their allocated unit which then continues their professional development.
