Just to be clear , self driving cars are computers and computers can be hacked , I'm not trying to sound paranoid but it brings me concern. Hate to have my car hacked while I'm doing 80 on an interstate.

Until there is legislation limiting liability (like that enjoyed by the nuclear industry) autonomous vehicles will never be adopted.
To be honest, I don’t think Elon would want to either. Would create a legal mess in liabilities if an accident does happen.
