Durham police say a man is facing charges after they recovered stolen vehicles from an auto shop in Ajax.
On August 17, officers were called to the area of Fairall Street and Westney Road South for a stolen vehicle that had been tracked to an auto shop.A total of eight vehicles were recovered.Rafiollah Mahdavi, 60, of Stouffville, is charged with: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Exceeding $5000 x9; Mischief/Damage to Property – Exceeding $5000 x4 and Unlawfully Possess Automobile Master Key.Anyone with new information about this incident is asked to contact D/Cst.
