A woman and a teenage boy are dead and a driver is on the run after a three-car crash in south-western Sydney on Friday night.The Mercedes and a silver Toyota Echo collided head-on about 9.20pm, police said, before the Mercedes hit a Toyota RAV4 and flipped on to its side. Paramedics tried to save the occupants of the Echo – a 24-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy – but they died at the scene. They are yet to be formally identified.Police said they later found the Volkswagon in the neighbouring suburb of Ashcroft and the driver of that car, an 18-year-old man, was arrested about 11.30pm after attending Liverpool police station. He was taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing.
