Drivers of two vehicles led police on a chase at about midnight Aug .22.
The vehicles traveled at a high rate of speed on 480. Police lost sight of them at Granger Road in Garfield Heights and terminated the pursuit. They were unable to obtain the license-plate numbers.A 2017 Hyundai Sonata was reported stolen at about 2 p.m. Aug. 22 from the parking lot of Enterprise, 5370 West 130th.
The attempted theft was reported at about 12:30 p.m. Aug. 23. The vehicle’s steering column was pried open. Police pulled over the man’s car after he turned onto Snow. He was nervous, and his eyes were red and glassy. He admitted having “a few drinks” at a local party.Two Sheffield Lake males and one Brook Park male were given court summons at about 1 a.m. Aug. 18 after they were found trespassing inside the former Brookview Elementary School, 14105 Snow.
