Sydney Airport had put up an advertisement listing the details of the almost 100 cars lying abandoned at its long-term carpark in a final attempt to contact their owners.

Sydney Airport says it will do just that for all the unclaimed vehicles.

Included on the list is a black Porsche Cayenne four-wheel drive that is missing its number plates, a white Mercedes ML320, and a black BMW Series 5. If any of the owners do come forward, they'll need to pay the airport any outstanding parking fees, as well as the costs of storing and moving the car. Otherwise, all the unclaimed vehicles will be sold to an auction house, with the proceeds going to the federal government.
