Major Dexter Domingo, chief of TEU said during the AFP PNP Press Corps media briefing at the Royal Mandaya Hotel on Wednesday that based on the data of TEU from January to August this year, a total of 3,997 road crash incidents happened in the city and 7,008 vehicles were recorded involved wherein the top 3 are private vehicles at 34 percent, motorcycles at 15 percent, and trucks at 10 percent.
Domingo also cited the high-risk areas in Davao City where road crashes usually happen are the Carlos P. Garcia Street at 20 percent; MacArthur Highway at 11 percent; J.P Laurel at 5 percent; Quimpo Boulevard at 4 percent; and Panacan at 4 percent. This is concerning the two vehicles reportedly collided in Barangay San Antonio Agdao in Davao City on Tuesday.
