A Kimberley man has been jailed for more than three years after going on a drug and alcohol-fuelled crime spree while on bail for his involvement in a police car ramming.Leonardo Gore is sentenced to more than three years jail for a crime spree spanning several towns and Indigenous communities
Magistrate Michelle Ridley granted Gore bail under the strict condition that he lived in the community of Warmun, about 200 kilometres south of Kununurra, with his partner. He then drove the stolen ute more than three hours south to Halls Creek, but when police tried to stop him using a spike strip, he continued to drive on the rim of one wheel after the tyre was shredded.
"You could have stopped your conduct … you continued your path and your offending escalated," she said.
