J15 and J15A in Northamptonshire
following a serious collision between two cars. The road was initially shut at around 2am but remains closed now. Around an hour and a half after the initial closure message Highways England tweeted to say that vehicles stuck were being turned around and sent on their way. They tweeted again at 5.32am to say: ""Police collision investigation works are ongoing. There isA full diversion route remains in operation to direct motorists away from the area that's currently closed.

They wrote: "All emergency services including Northamptonshire Police are in attendance. National Highways Traffic Officers are also on scene providing assistance with traffic management."
