A 17-year-old learner driver has been arrested following an alleged high-speed police pursuit in Sydney's south-west, which ended when he crashed into three parked cars.

Highway Patrol officers were conducting mobile speed enforcement duties in Casula yesterday when they allegedly detected a Toyota Corolla travelling well above the speed limit. The young driver allegedly reached speeds of up 110km/h before crashing into three parked vehicles on a residential street.They include police pursuit failure to stop, driving dangerously, learner not accompanied and failure to display "L" plates as prescribed.
